Decorating With Found Objects - Part 3

Even things that are broken can lead a useful life.

This is the mug I drank my tea out of for many years. It helped to get me ready to face many a day of renovating. But then one day the handle broke off and couldn't be repaired. It was too pretty to discard, so I pressed it into service as a spoon mug. (This seems to be an English tradition. It's as if tea-making is such a pressing concern that keeping the tea spoons with the other cutlery would slow down the process just TOO MUCH, so the spoons are kept in a mug, right next to the kettle.)

I don't advise saving everything that breaks, but if you like it and you can give it a decent use where the damage won't get in the way, why not?
