The lovely people at Boomerhead.com contacted me to tell me about their site, which includes a section called Transforming Your Treasures. It has some very cool projects, including an old stereo cabinet transformed into a kitchen island and display shelves made from desk drawers. Very cool!
And, while this next one includes some shameless self-promotion, it's also a link to a really good site.
Tiny Choices is a blog about the environment and all the choices we make on a daily basis that can either help or hurt. Karina and Jenn don't preach, don't pretend to have all the answers. But they ask some very thoughtful questions and provide a lot of solid information.
They also run the Tiny Choices Survey, which I took and which is posted here.

I too have been staring at those twinkly lights. Too long, I was starting to get blurry eyed from so much Christmas festivity followed by a holiday fog of laziness! It was wonderful though to take a break! Now I am slowly creeping back out into the world. Just a bit!
