Customer What? - Part 2

We finally got fed up today. Went back to the carpet store and cancelled our purchase.

Sounds easy, doesn't it?

At one point, no less than FIVE people were wandering around, looking for paperwork. They'd head into the warehouse and then come back to confer and then someone else would wander off.

Finally one of them realized that leaving the customer steaming in the front of the store was probably a bad idea. They had lost one of the vital bits of paper, but finally thought that maybe they could give us our refund and THEN go look for it.

Sheesh.

We stopped by another carpet store. Bought a nice piece of remnant. Saved five bucks. AND they cut, rolled and wrapped it for us right there. Helped load it into our car and sent us on our way!

Guess where we'll be shopping for all our flooring needs from now on?

They also have tile. Pretty, pretty tile....

Keep your head up. And in case you're not busy enough, I dare you to make the newspaper stand. Remember--- there IS a fabulous prize!!! :)

I once had a boss tell me it was not a good thing to be intolerant of others with a lesser work ethic. He may have worked for this carpet warehouse, LOL!!

Tara, yes, indeed, they're on my list of favourites!

I'll need to climb over a snowbank to get to my supplies, but maybe...

And Janet.... your BOSS said that?!? Pretty much why I'm self-employed today!
