Bedroom Renovation, Step by Step

It's finally done!  I took pictures, standing in pretty much the same spot, from the day we decided to take the wall down until this morning.

Which is pretty amazing for me.  Usually, we get to the end of a renovation and someone says, "Did you take before pictures?"

And I'm all, like, "What?"

The Wallpaper Had to Go...
There's Another Room!
Down Go the Studs
Stud Removing a Stud
The Ceilings Don't Match!
Getting Closer
Nearly There!
Ta Daaaaa!

Dreamy! I'm dying to walk on white floors myself. You guys obviously had a great vision.

That wallpaper and the orange picture in the first picture had me laughing out loud. What a combo!

PERFECT!!!
I am redoing our OLD bathroom, I think I should take pictures now so I can remember how gross it was.

Well done - I like the natural palette and recycled feel :)

Ooooh! Thanks everyone for your kind comments!

Corine - I was hoping that painting would tone down the wallpaper, but I think it only encouraged it!

And Mormar - I really recommend taking the "before" photos. You may think you don't want to remember it, but I've always regretted not taking them.

I love everything you have done. It has so much tranquility and character. Do I see the weather changing through that patio door??

Thanks!

And yes, Suzie, a few seasons came and went while we were working on it...
