Rusty Junk

I am a sucker for a box lot of rusty junk.  I don't really know why, but I just love the stuff.

Treasures!

I'm looking at these old hinges and thinking that, if I could secure them at a ninety-degree angle, they'd make great brackets for light-duty shelves.

I really must get around to taking that welding course one of these days.

This is the kind of thing I would buy! Love the idea for using them as shelf supports. Having fun looking through your great blog! Michele

....or in a shadow display box on the wall...I love those display boxes with a collection of old things!

Thanks Michele! I'm glad you're enjoying it!

and Tara - another good option. Especially if you use an old shadow box... :)

I so understand your junk passion. This rusted metal is beautiful. Somehow time adds a finish to objects that none of us can do in hurry.

I couldn't have said it better myself!
