Lazy Sunday Links

I love this installation, called Drawerment by Hubero Kororo, found via The Style Files.  I'm inspired to take a second look at those orphaned drawers I keep seeing at the auction!

Have I told you about Design Without Reach?  Very funny, very tongue-in-cheek approach to classic modern design.

And a couple of eco-friendly design blogs came to my attention this week.

Green Your Decor "was born both of frustration and inspiration:

Frustration in my attempts to find sustainable and eco-friendly products while decorating my new home; and inspiration to do something to reduce my own carbon footprint and help style-conscious homeowners and decorators who don’t want to sacrifice the planet for a great look." (quoted from the website).

I love that after each post, Jennae lists why a particular product is green.  It's a big help in the decision-making process!

Rethink and Reuse started in April of this year and "pays homage to design ideas with social responsibility and environmental sustainability in mind. In everyday speak: this site honors turning something old into something new." (quoted from the website).  And yes, that's my chest (er... dresser) in the most recent post, but that's not why I'm linking to her!!!!

That's all for this week.  Hope you're all enjoying a lovely lazy Sunday!
