Lazy Sunday Links

Poetic Home came to my attention this week (see what leaving a comment on Flickr can do?).  It is the very beautiful blog of Grace Light, a photo stylist with a keen eye for a vintage treasure.  She also has  an Etsy shop and all the profits from it go to the National Trust.  Very cool, Grace!

Another great Flickr find was Chez Larsson, written by Benita.  She's based in a suburb of Stockholm.  And writes about "house, home and hobbies".  And the photography is gorgeous, as you can see from this photo:

I want that living room!

I'm sure you're all following Haus Maus, Holly Becker's blog about setting up home in Germany.  I must admit I'd missed a few posts.  I nearly fell off my chair when I saw this post with the before and after's of her entryway.  It's almost the exact configuration of the one in my new apartment.

I guess I have no excuse for not making it gorgeous...

And one last thing you've probably seen, but it's such a great idea, I want to make sure no one missed it.  Grace at Design*Sponge runs DIY Wednesdays.  They're always full of good ideas, but this week's....  It wasn't until I read the whole thing that I realized that the curvy, gorgeous hall shelf is actually an Ikea magazine holder (of course, I would paint mine white to go with my favourite living room...).  Brilliant!

OK.  That's it.  I have to go get ready for work.

Hope you're all having a lovely lazy Sunday!
