Lazy Sunday Links - Gardening Sites

Picture 109

I have a love/hate relationship with gardening.  I love plants and flowers and, especially, trees.  I love the thought of working a patch of soil and making in healthier, of doing my bit to help this old earth.

But gardening itself can reduce me to a weeping puddle of ineptness faster than anything I know.

Thankfully, there's the internet.

You Grow Girl was started in February 2000 for people just like me.  It's full of the kind of detailed information that can give the timid amateur the confidence to get out there and try something.

The Helpful Gardener has lots and lots of articles about organic gardening, container gardening, growing vegetables.  And a forum!  So I can ask the really stupid questions in relative anonymity.

And in blogland, you can stop by The Inadvertent Gardener, Native Plant Girl and, of course, my friend Heloise's My Imperfect Garden, which, hello!  Imperfect, right there in the title!  Just like my garden, in fact.

Hope you're getting your hands dirty on this lovely lazy Sunday!

Thanks for the link shoutout, Barb! I hear you on the ineptness...I'm definitely no expert...not by a long shot!

Thanks Tara! I had a lovely weekend - I hope you did, too!

And Genie - I'm so glad to know I'm not alone!
