OK, a bit misleading, the actual work took place at home, but the repair elements came from the beach.
It's just an old stool I picked up at the auction for pennies. At the time, it had a nasty, flouncy cover on the seat and was missing its bottom rung. Eventually, it would have fallen apart.
I had a nice piece of driftwood and a couple of screws.
The floral fabric was removed and the seat buffed up. It serves in the kitchen when needed, but is much happier holding magazines and spare towels in the bath.
