Anyone with a circa-1950's kitchen will be familiar with these cabinet knobs.
They are readily available at second-hand stores these days. And while they have acquired a certain retro-charm in the intervening years, I decided to keep the small, discreet knobs in my kitchen and find another use for these.
In my book, you can never have too many candle holders. So I reassembled them, with the lip turned up as insurance against spilled wax.
