This week, I'll be taking you through my kitchen reno. Showing you what I reused, how I saved money and, hopefully, giving you good ideas you can use in your own place.

Kitchens and baths are the two most expensive rooms in the house to re-do.

We saved money by keeping our old appliances and sink, which is not always possible, I know.

Before I get into the how-to's, here are a few "before" shots to show you what we were up against.






Yes, those are orange walls with dark green tiles and pine cabinets. Not exactly the light and breezy look I was after.
