One of the things that came up for auction on Tuesday was a box of PVC pipe.
I didn't bid, despite the auctioneer's pleading looks. I have come to learn that the path to hell (or at least an unutterably messy basement) is paved with cries of "I might need it someday!" If I can't think of a use for something right then and there, I don't bid.
And I've been very proud of myself because of it.
So this morning, I'm looking through the current issue of Blueprint. And I see this.
And remember the box of pipe. Well, huh! I could have cut them up, glued them together and made a wine rack. Or a magazine holder.
So that's it. From now on, I'm just bidding on everything.
