Shop Talk

When I opened May December Home, I decided not to be a consignment shop. Call it "keeping to my own personal vision" or call it "being a total control freak" - they both fit.

But when a man named Jim comes in with stuff like this:

It's a Miniature Dresser!! I Could Keep My Jewelry in This!!

It Folds Up! And It's Pink!!!

Apothecary Jars!! Jim, Where Have You Been?

Well, "Flexibility" becomes my middle name!

Ooh! I don't blame you, they're amazing!

That little dresser is amazing! It reminds me that I have a little doll dresser that belonged to my grandmother in a box in the closet. It's not as fancy as yours, and it needs repaired, but I never thought about using it for jewelry! Thank you, thank you!

Thanks, Sondra and BeckyKay - I'm so happy to hear of treasured heirlooms being put to good use!
