April in Paris - A Good Start

We're still settling in and getting our bearings here.  That process was somewhat hampered by the fact that the phone rang at three o'clock this morning.  We can only assume it was a wrong number - the only people we gave the number to swear it wasn't them.

However, we don't actually know how to answer the phone - merely picking it up doesn't seem to work.  More research is needed...

We did take a nice long wander, down to the Seine and through Notre Dame Cathedral.

Here are a few pictures.

I hope you're enjoying your stay so far!

I will be experiencing my own country vicariously thanks to you.

If you want to visit the Eiffel Tower and avoid the line, make a reservation at the restaurant on the second floor. The food and view are great (and reasonable, unlike the restaurant at the top which is super $$) and they have a separate elevator.

I'm jealous.

I'm jealous. I was there a year ago, but still, you can never spend too much time in Paris! Have a great time!
